The Dirty Hands Gang begins its 13th season, Tuesday, April 19 at 8:00 am, restoring and preserving the Overfalls. On the list of projects to be accomplished this season is cleaning and repainting the hull. A donated pontoon boat is needed to accomplish this task. Specifically the Dirty Hands Gang needs a pontoon boat, 16' to 18' in length with aluminum pontoon floats. It will be used as a platform to clean and paint the outer hull of the ship. If donated, the pontoon boat would provide a tax deductible contribution since the Overfalls Foundation is an IRS designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization. A gasoline powered pressure washer providing 2,500 to 3,000 psi would also be very welcome.
If you have a pontoon boat and/or a pressure washer you can make available to the Dirty Hands Gang, please contact Bill Reader (reetstu@yahoo.com) as soon as possible.
