Ed Rayner Receives Award

At the OMMF Holiday Party held at the Inn at Canal Square in Lewes on Friday, December 11, 2009, Ed Rayner was presented with the "Dirty Hands" award in appreciation of his many years of dedicated OMMF volunteer service. Bill Reader, head of the Restoration Committee and leader of the "Dirty Hands Gang," is shown (on left) giving Ed the award. This annual award, given to an outstanding member of the Dirty Hands Gang, will spend the winter in Ed's home and in the spring it will return to the ship where it will be put on display. The Dirty Hands award was initiated in 2001.
